We have an upcoming trip to Disney World where we will have 1 day in the parks thanks to a cast member friend who was kind enough to lend my family cast member tickets. My friend is not an expert on how to use the tickets so I thought I would ask the question here. What I know for sure - the tickets are park hoppers, there are no blackout dates for any of the parks the day we are going and my friend will be with us for the day. My question is what strategy can I use to get fastpasses when we enter the park? I will not be linking these to our DME account so I will only be utilizing the kiosks. We are Disney World veterans so the goal is to hit some of our highlight rides in each park. Can I assume that I can only book fastpasses at the park I am currently in at the kiosk? Should I automatically book 3 FP's as early as possible even if I don't want them so we can book additional FP's when we go to another park?

If you are using Guest Passes, the CM can book FPs for each Guest Pass one week in advance.

If you will be using the Complimentary e-tickets, have her email them to you, link them to the correct people and you can book FPs.

With either type of ticket, you never need to go to a kiosk... use the CM’s account for Guest Pass FPs or your own account for Comp ticket FPs.

As a former CM who helped with the launch of My Magic Plus this is exactly right.

If you are using your friend's Main Entrance Pass and Guest Passes, have them sign into their Disney Account on the WDW website. They can book FP's 7 days in advance which will give you a better chance than booking day of in the park to get attractions you want. If they haven't linked their Main Entrance Pass to their account yet, the process is the same as linking any ticket. If they can't figure it out I'm sure someone they work with can help them, or there should be instruction on the HUB (CM only intranet site) they can follow.

Have a fun day!! I sure do miss my CM days and going with my friends!
