I am always the Fastpass procurer. My family usually fusses and carries on, but I do it willingly because we usually travel at more crowded times due to work/school schedules. this year we are bring 2 friends along with my children. i need tips to optimize fastpass procurement to optimize touring for these two Disney newbies

Main one is use app for smart phone or iphone so you can see return times prior to making the run.

Otherwise any successful runner methodology you used should still work fine.

can you tell us the name of the app as I was unaware that there was a fastpass return time app. I have an iphone.

There's a smart phone app? Please tell more. I have an andriod phone and that would be awesome!! Can you get a fast pass from your phone or do you need to physically go there to get the fast pass.

I just looked up "fastpass" in itunes and couldn't find anything with a fastpass return time information in any of those apps, although I think they should come out with an app like that. If there is an android one I'd like to know too.

I found this one for Disneyland

And I found this for Verizon users...I have a AT&T Iphone and I like it, I would say it ***** that it is not available for iphone in general, but my family has both verizon and adroids, so I'll just peak on their phones...

supossedly for any browser-enabled mobile phone...I'm going to test in on my at&t iphone...

I tested out the mobile website and from my understanding, unless you are in the park, the website will only tell you if fastpasses are available for an attraction or not and not the return times. You & your mobile device must be in the park to see the return times for a particular attraction. It worked that way on my phone just now. No surprise Test Track and Soarin' had no fastpasses available at 4pm, but I couldn't see the return times for Mission Space, since I am not in Epcot right now. If someone goes to the park soon, and has to use the mobile website, please give a review about the return times being accurate and if they are actually availble to you if you are in the park. Or, if you already have used it.

Looking through my iPhone, I have Lines (from Touring Plans (paid subscription comes with app) and MouseWait (I just added this one - can't vouch for its accuracy). Both of these have FastPass return times as well as waits.

Just added Mousewait & since it says Everest has a FP return time of 11:30am & it's 5pm, I doubt it's correct. But it's V.1 and they say on their site that it will take a few weeks for everything to get up to speed.

You can use mobilemagic.com if you don't have a Verizon phone, you just can't use the app, and I'm not paying for a touring plans subscription just for their app. I don't even like TP, I like easywdw.com; it's free and more accurate in my opinion. Between Mousewait and MObileMagic, you can get two perfectly good apps for free. I do think Mousewait will start to be more accurate in the coming months, if you want to keep an eye out for it.

If you're going soon, you might want to consider the Lines app...although I still don't like TP.
