Fastpass for Holiday Overlay Rides

I have been tracking the wait times the past couple weeks for our upcoming October trip. I have noticed that Tower of Tower, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion currently does not have fastpass available. Is this because they have the holiday overlays? Will fast passes not be available for these during October?

Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion have both been closed to receive their holiday overlays which probably explains why they haven't shown a FP available the last couple of weeks. Space always has the FP system in use, and I just checked on the app and it says current FP distribution time is for 5:50-6:50.

HM used FP when I was there last October but today it isn't showing FP as available. I think they only use it sporadically during busier times maybe?

ToT typically has a FP (at least every time I've been there) and I'm guessing it's only going to get busier over these next few months as people try to get rides in before it closes on January 2. Not sure why FP hasn't been showing for this.

I see a current FP time of 6pm-7pm for SMGG. Usually if the app is slow to load it will just say not available, but if you reload it's there. Try calling OTTO for FP return times.

I was wondering about this - I was pretty sure I had never seen fast pass open for it and last time we were there we did see it (and used it) and it was a busy day. I was wondering if I had just missed the FP before or if it hadn't been open the other times. Now I'm going to try to pay attention to this

I've always noticed that Haunted Mansion is always a hit or miss when it comes to FP.. but I'd totally make use of it for when its the holiday overlay (especially in the beginning it's always the busiest.)
SMGG always has fast pass options.. and ToT does as well..

All 3 are currently distributing FP according to the app right now.

I believe SM and ToT always have FPs (if they haven't run out for the day)

HM only has FP available during Halloween time, but runs our quickly because of the overlay.

They did keep the FP open for HM for the whole year. But they also added the hatbox ghost and the parks were crowded for the 60th. I think they'll probably keep it if FP goes virtual, but we'll see in February what happens.

There must be something wrong with my App because when I check these rides they say Fastpass not available right now no matter what time of day I check it. I only get that message for the other rides if all the FP has been distributed throughout the day.

The previous app would only display wait times if GPS located you within the resort area. They may not be bothering to load all info if it can tell you're really far away. Have you tried actually signing into the app to see if that helps the information loading?
