Fastpass+ for Christmas Party without park ticket

I tried to look this up on FAQ but it's confusing. So I am looking for your help in answering.

I have a 10-day ticket.... I will be at WDW for 2 weeks. I plan to use Christmas Party ticket to enter MK as my 11th day ticket.

My understanding is that in the past Christmas Parking ticket holder will be able to book FP+ between 4-7pm? Is this true for 2018? If it is, how does the system distinguish the ticket to use? Now, everything is linked on My Disney Experience. If I book FP+ during those hours, will they not count towards one of my 10 days? If there is no record of morning park entry with regular 10-day ticket, would I still be able to use FP+? Will the system get confused and deduct a park entry on my ticket, instead of using the Christmas Party ticket?

Sorry if I sound confusing... because I am. Therefore, I need help from those who have done this before. Thank you.

I have a similar scenario, but with a Disney After Hours ticket. I was able to book all 10 days, and then the 2 days with the Disney Hours ticket. About a week after I booked the fastpasses, I received an email notifying me that I had too many days booked and if I didn't make a change, the fastpasses on the last two days I had booked would be deleted. I didn't want those days to be deleted, so I did eventually delete the FP on the Disney After Hours event dates.

I called technical services department 5 times now and each time I received a different answer.

I called before I booked them and was told I was allowed to book them.
I called the day I booked them and was told yes I can book them but only after 7pm.
I called after I received them email and was told the email must be an error.
I called again to make sure those last days wouldn't be deleted and was told, no you can't have these delete them.
I called again after reading that other people successfully booked the FP and was told, yes absolutely the FP are allowed prior to the start of the party on a day I would be using only the party ticket...but when I went through my call history the agent revised that answer to I don't know, we actually do not have anything in the system yet...nothing saying either yes or no ...she suggested I monitor the blog.

It's extremely frustrating that there seems to be no policy and no consistency in the answers I get from tech support.

IF the system lets you book 11 days of FP, and if the party isn’t your last park day total, and if you don’t get the dreaded email like PP, I’d advise using either hard printed tickets to enter the Event or see if there are special marked turn styles for entering the Event. People on here say the system is smart enough not to use one of your Park day tickets when you really just want to use your Event ticket, but I didn’t trust it last year. I had my hard tickets for the Event printed and scanned those when we entered the park for the event. I didn’t get the dreaded email and no idea why or why not. This was for MVMCP.
