fastpass+ doubling choices and not changing

Anyone know why the system is doubling choices rather than replacing with a new selection. This is maddening If you test something and it dont work thats a hint to throw it away and replace with what does work and not to further and put more people in the stockpile of mess..

It's not doubling choices , it is a display issue. Go to the change screen and it will show the correct 3 slots.

Thanks I sent an email and hope they can fix it . It shows on my itinerary but cant change anything from that location have to go into the change section. Its off I hope we got the ones we want they are listed but now its difficult to make sure it is reading the right ones.

I had that over the weekend when we were there. If you log off and back on it will show up correctly.

Last week we decided to swap our DHS day with our AK day due to weather conditions. Since I had already made all of the FP+ selections, I had to go and change them all.

The Kilimanjaro Safaris FP+ remained behind after I deleted the other selections for AK for the day we were now going to DHS. It was in a stuck state where it was showing in my selections, but couldn't be changed or deleted.

Also, after I selected one of the suggested FP+ plans for my 3 selected DHS rides, I then went back to customize the times to my liking. The Star Tours and Tower of Terror FP+ became duplicated and it was showing the old times and new times. No amount of logging out and logging out would change it. It showed like that on both the website and the MDE app.

So for the day we were at DHS, my daily plans on both the MDE app and website showed me 2 parks (AK and DHS) and 6 FP+ for that day (1 Kilimanjaro Safaris, 1 Toy Story Midway Mania, 2 Star Tours, and 2 Tower of Terror). Only 3 of the 6 FP+ were valid, of course. If I hadn't know which of the selections were correct, it would have been really confusing.

A lot of people have referred to those as "Ghost" FP's - I had many of them show up on my own MDE schedule, sometimes as many as 6 in one day, always for the same park.

It's almost like the older choices you've replaced with newer choices have not been removed. But even though they are still there, they aren't valid FP's. As another poster explained, they don't show up on certain edit screens.

I didn't notice any pattern to their demise once I was in the park - when I used an FP for example, Test Track, the valid Test Track FP was the one that was shown to have been used. I didn't try using the ghost FP's but they would disappear from MDE right around the time they were supposed to be good for.

Thanks everyone who responded. I made two calls to tech support today. The first lady well just did not really fix anything and picked a bunch of times I did not really want and said my preferred times were not available. That to me seemed off since we are still 50+ days out. In addition she was not able to eliminate the ghost FPs that are listed multiple times and said to just ignore them so not being satisfied with this I called back 20 minutes later and got a gentlemen who was able to get our desired times for the same ones the previous lady stated were no longer available and said he was making a change but that I would not be able to change the times again without going to Guest services which I agreed to in order to get my preferred rides at the time slots we wanted. He also said some other times and rides would be listed and if they work fine we got some extras but he guaranteed the 3 rides and times we picked to be effective and to write them down so to remember which ones are guaranteed ones but he could not guarantee the others. Whew After all this maybe they all will work or non of them lol

I have the same issue, and now I have like 6 FP+ per days displayed in MDE and website.
Could this produce an isssue to use them? (at least the 3 real FP+)

The 3 real ones will work and will give you a Green Mickey.
The 3 ghost ones will not and will give you a Blue Mickey.

Just make sure you remember which are real and you should be fine.
