Why oh why can't we book a Fastpass one at a time? Why can't we pick a time slot from the get go? And why do we have to have an adult with a child? Here's my specific problem:
I have a 5 yo who is tall enough for some but not all thrill rides. I also have a 3yo who's not tall enough for much and probably wouldn't ride a thrill ride even if she could. I have a husband who will ride everything and a mother who's a wimp.
So here's how I create my Fastpasses:
This can all be fixed by letting us select a group and then select 1, just 1 Fastpass at a time and picking the time from the get go. Why can't this be done? I assume because that will be too complicated and the current system is set up like some kind of lazy low Disney knowledge slot machine. Well one at a time is way easier than the way it works now and at least my son would have been able to ride toy story with mom and his little sister instead of being stuck in our group so he could ride Star Tours. This is basically forcing my son to play the Disney version of Would You Rather.
I know Fastpass is a perk but it shouldn't be this hard.

So here's how I create my Fastpasses:
- I have to select some but not all of our party.
- Then I select three things.
- Then I just randomly select one of the preselected time options because it doesn't matter what they suggest, I'm not going to go with their time slots anyway.
- Then I have to edit the time slots based on personal preference, parades, ADR's etc...
- Then I repeat 1-4 for the next group.
- Then I repeat 4 for the first group because whatever times I got for the one or two Fastpasses that we are doing together don't line up.
