Fastest way to drive to Disney from Atlanta?
Anyone have any short cuts that will save us time?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Keith,

The simplest and most direct route is to take I-75 South to the Florida Turnpike (which has tolls, but worth it), continue South on the FL Turnpike to Osceola Parkway, take Osceola Parkway West (right when coming from the north) and it ends inside Disney Property, if you are staying on Property this is your best bet, however if you are staying off property you may want to use the I-4 West exit from the Turnpike depending on where you are staying. Either one of those exits will get you there accordingly.
Hope this has helped.

Great, thanks for the info. Yes Im staying on disney do you know how long it takes roughly???

I travel from Orlando to IL. From ATL you are about a 8-9 hour drive, depending on traffic.

Normaly I-75 has low traffic until you get close to Wildwood. FL turnpike is your best bet and follow direction given on previous post.

Haven't tried jtbdas' way...it does sound like the fastest if the Turnpike isn't backed up. When I drove down in December, the Turnpike was crawling shortly after I got on it. I got off at Rt 27 and took that South to 192. Take that East a short distance to the main WDW entrance. A number of people on this board recommended it and it was great. You do have several stop lights though so I suppose the Turnpike to Osceola would be fastest as long as it's moving.:D
