Who has one? I bought the mini yesterday at AC Moore's scrapday-I got it and a smaller pack of extra staples for under $10 with their sale-GREAT deal! I'm excited. What have you guys used it for? Got any pages to show off? I found maybe 5 on 2peas...

I got one for Christmas, but I haven't used it yet. I'm hoping to get lots of scrapping time in the next couple of weeks (once work slows down) and I plan to use it then! :thumbsup2

I bought this, but hardly ever use it. I use it mostly for Disney layouts on tags to hold thread or fibers. If I don't have it in sight, I forget about it.

It's ok, but it won't go thru anything thick.. anything more than a sheet of paper is just about out.. I have ruined more staples with this thing.. (yes, my GOOD disney staples.. :( ) I guess i thought it would be able to handle alot more than it can..
Maria bought me mine, and i think she feels the same way about hers.. lol.

We rarely use it, but we did discover that the staples, when stepped on barefoot, can easily pierce skin.:guilty:

I have a big one, my son who is 4.5years old got it for me for christmas. He calls it my BIG Stappler. He loves to see me use it. I use it to hold ribbon on to cards. Its cute, it takes practice to line it up. I always hold down my ribbon with a little adhesive and then stapple it.

I just use the staples. I cut a small slit where I want it, push the staple through and fold the edges down.

Way to go Buffy!!! That way you can go through more than one sheet of paper!!!

Like Stac said, we tried it on 2 or 3 layers and it just doesn't want to work well. The staples get all mashed up in the back. You have to only use one sheet of paper (like bazzil) and your ribbon, picture or whatever you are holding down. I also agree with the lining up part, it takes some practice! They don't have great guides on the large one. Most of the time I am off, but it still does the job and looks cute! I do like mine, I guess I just wished that it did more than it does and that the staples were a bit more sturdy.

I'll be really honest - I think it's a pain to use. LOL. I try to use it to adhere ribbon, but it's very hard to get it *exactly* where you want it to go. I don't use it nearly as much as I thought I would. As a matter of fact, I just did 85 Disney layouts and only used it once on this Tigger Layout....

I like the idea of just cutting a slit, pushing the staples through and flaring the back things. I could get more accurate with them, maybe!

I've not used mine a great deal, but I've mainly used it half on the photo and mat and half on the page itself (which is 3 layers) and it just adda a little 'extra' something.
I've seen a couple of layouts where the 'staples' were right next to each other but I've not mastered that yet.
I really want the animal pattern ones next.

I've really liked it so far. I used it on several layouts and haven't had any problems with it, other than the difficulty lining it up, which I sort of expected. I'm ready to expand to more cute staples, though!

I love this layout! TFS!

I've had mine for about a month now - I got it on sale at my LSS for like $6. I've ruined more staples than I've used with it. It does take some practice to figure out where you need to put your things to line them up.

At first I was saving the "ruined" staples to rebend then use again, but I felt too much like Sunny in the "Series of Unfortunate Events" book series - you know, when she was forced to make staples with her teeth?
