Hello,
I read the following on Deb's site about the Fastamic dinner package....

The Fantasmic Package is not worth the bother. We just returned from WDW and had the dinner package at Mama Melrose. The dinner was great, but the seating was BAD!!!! The site is on the far side of the theatre. It is NOT handicapped accessible and the view is not good. It would be better in the center for people in wheelchairs.

Is this true? If it is then I wouldn't want to get the package because I'm in a w/c. Thank you all for your help! Kim:bounce:

I did the Fantasmic package with a scooter in 2000 and I will be doing it again in August. There was plenty enough room for WC's and ECV's and there are benches right in front of you for people in your party to use. The view was great and I got good pictures. I did it mainly because I didn't want my husband to have to wait in a long line for general admission, since he has leg problems and won't use a WC or ECV

I don't know where those other people were sitting, but I had an excellent experience. If I hadn't I wouldn't be doing it again.

We have not done the Fantasmic dinner package, but we have sat in every area from right in the middle to almost at an end. I feel that none of the seats in the place are bad. The stage is a sort of half circle stage set with different levels, rocks - sort of like a mountain setting. There is a "river" that goes around the stage between the stage and the audience. The setting is stadium style (the seats are on steps going down toward the stage) and the seating follows the stage to be a portion of a circle.
Some of the action takes place on the stage, but they do a good job of spreading the action around so that it 's not all aimed at the middle. For part of the show, movies are projected on screens of water. There is one screen for each section of the seating, so everyone gets a pretty equal view of the movie part. There is also some action on the water, but it follows the river along, so one side sees the action first, but everyone will eventually have it in front of them.
The entire back row of seating is reserved for people in wheelchairs and ecvs, plus the row in front of that for the rest of their party. People have posted that they had no trouble at all getting accessible seating for the Fantasmic dinner package. Just make sure to let them know you need it so they save seats in that area for you. I'm not sure if they have "dedicated" wheelchair accessible seats for the Fantasmic package. From what I have read, they just use the regular wheelchair seating.

I just wanted to thank you both for your help! It makes me feel a lot better getting this package. Kim:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
