Fast passes today..

We were traveling today and I was checking wait times on the Disneyland app and pretty early in the day I noticed "No fast passes available" pretty early on for most rides?!?
Was it crowded today?

Not verfied but I feel like they have been manipulating and tinkering with Fast Pass distributions over the past few weeks on various days...My guess is they are testing various volume scenarios in preparation for he MaxPass rollout and management.

No doubt. That's exactly what happened in the months leading up to rollout of the FP+ system in WDW.

We arrived Sunday and I think it has been pretty crowded. More so than I remember it being this time of year other times we have come.
I only noticed RSR fast passes were gone before noon

On most days RSR FP is gone between 11am-12pm.

This will change slightly when Guardians opens. Probably around 1pm-3pm

Like, how early are you talking? If it was during EMH/MM at DL, only HSM was distributing FPs. Nothing else was.

Also, not all rides use FP, so looking at the wrong rides could give you the wrong impression. I haven't seen anything run out super early when I've been looking. When I looked yesterday I noticed that most rides were in the 1-3 hour out range for FP returns and I didn't see anything complete for the day except RSR. Looked just now and wait times look good today and all FP are available within 1-2 hours. RSR is temporarily closed, so I don't know if FP are out or not. Possibly not because the parks don't look that busy.

It looks like you can pull a FP for everything that has one except for RSR right now. Which is normal for RSR, but it's also down at the moment. You could still pull one for Space Mountain or Toy Story.

Space Mountain is still available at 5 PST. I'm surprised!

We just got home tonight from 5 days. FP seemed as expected to me. RSR ran out around noon. TSM ran out around 4. Everything else was available, many with only 30 minute wait from time of pulling, at least early in the day. Space FP and RSR FP were able to be pulled during EMH. Not sure if this is typical now but wasn't that way when we went 3 years ago. We did that each EMH and that allowed us more FP for each day. Bonus!

One thing that may be throwing FPs off a bit is that Indiana Jones just closed for refurb -- puts pressure on other attractions.

Does anyone know if Touring Plans or another Disneyland site keeps track of when FP have historically run out? I know you can check the app to see what time is being distributed but I would like to set appropriate expectations for my upcoming trip.
