Fast pass with room reservations

I have a reservation at POR in feb. I was wondering if I can make fast pass selections because I’m staying on site without having tickets yet or do I need to purchase my tickets first? I was going to wait to purchase my tickets when I get there since they’ll be florida resident tickets and I have to prove my residency anyway. But I’ll get them in advance if I can’t get fast passes without them.

You need to have tickets in order to make fast passes.

You can buy Florida resident tickets in advance. You’ll show the proof of residency when you pick them up, but it shouldn’t stop you from getting them early
