We don't use Fastpass too much...we try to go when it's not crowded...Anyway, I was wondering, when you have a fast pass(and return at the proper time) do you generally just "walk right on" or is there still a wait time involved.

can still be a little bit of a wait depending on how many others are using their FP at the same time.

We've been to WDW twice, once with FP and once without. We did a pretty good utilizing FP and we went during spring break season. The wait time on FP maybe less than 10 minutes but usually less than 5, compared with 30-40 minute waits on some rides.

Also depends on the ride. Some rides are high volume and the fastpass queue will move extremely fast. Other rides are low volume, yet very popular like Test Track which will have limited fastpass availability and have longer waits.

We went three weeks ago. This was a pretty heavy time. Most fast pass waits were 5 to 10 minutes. We used Fastpass for Test track and Stitch in the mid -afternoon and had a 30 minute waits ( which seemed excessive)- but the standby lines were 90 minutes.
