Fast Pass reserved for daily tickets?

I am staying off property, so at a disadvantage for Fast Pass selection. But I have heard they reserve a certain amount of Fast Passes for the day of when you arrive in the park with a daily ticket. Is this true? Any tips for this?

It's rumored but we don't know for sure if they do. Your best bet is to book at 30 days when your window opens up. Then if you don't get what you want check daily if you can to see if things open up.
