Hello! My husband and I are taking our three kids (ages 9,6 and 3) to Disneyworld in April for a week. This will be our first trip so I'm doing A LOT of research! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a fast pass decision I have to make: I can choose to use a fast pass for either Toy Story Mania or Beauty and the Beast. I decided to book fast passes for all of us at 9:30 for TSM (which will give the boys enough time to register for Jedi Training Academy and then head over) but I'm worried we won't get in to the 1pm Beauty and the Beast show without a fast pass. Does this show typically require a fast pass or will we be ok as long as we show up half an hour before? From what I've read it seems TSM is the way to go but I don't want to risk missing the show. Originally I had my daughter (age 3.5) and I at TSM right at 9 and used the fast pass for the show but we would prefer to do the ride as a family. Thx so much for any advice/help!

TSM is a MUCH better use of a FP. BatB theatre is very large, and even when it looks like there's a huge crowd, you'll probably get in with no problem. I don't have experience with that show at that particular time of year, but no matter what, TSM is the better use of the FP here. BatB is a wasted FP most of the time, I think, because it's generally not an issue to see at your leisure...

:welcome: to posting on the DISboards, danshar!

Many more details and FP priorities found HERE.

Agree with your choice and the other posters. TSM is definitely the must have FP+. B&tB will be much easier to get in to. Have a great trip!

Definitely TSMM. Show up for BatB about 20-30 mins early for a good spot.

It may even be worth pushing your FP+ a little later depending on what else you have planned. You could go sign up, head back over to TSMM and wait in the normal queue, then use your FP+ later. I'll be honest though, I have no clue how long it takes to sign up for Jedi Academy and the TSMM queue doesn't take long to pile up.

I agree with the others that Toy Story Mania was a good choice for the Fast Pass Plus.

Thank you all SO much for the tips, links and help! I really appreciate the advice. I'm glad I booked the right fast pass! Now to tackle the magic kingdom, but we have two days there so it's not as bad. We are really looking forward to our trip!
