Fashion Poll....if you had a choice between

The fashions from the past making a come back, which would you choose?

And why?

Give me jeans, shorts, and t-shirts, and gymmers. No dresses, stockings, yuck!

I voted the 40's. I really like the 30's, but the 40's will do. I like the 30's, 40's and some of the 50's. I think that time period had very feminine styles. They were sexy - low front, low back, tight fitting, frilly, ruffley. Tops were tight and shorts were short. The shoes were gorgeous! Beautiful platforms and wedges.

NOT the 80's. Like the Grinch song says, "Stink, stank, stunk!"

Can't say I loved the style and colors of 80's clothes, but at least they were comfy! No way are you getting me in a corset, or wearing heels or even a dress all the time. I voted for the 80's.

Well, out of those choices, I'd have to pick The 50's.
I like sweater sets.

I lived the 80's and could do without the mall hair.

How long would we have to wear this fashion? I was a teenager in the 80s and no longer have the body for that style. I would love to wear the big hoop skirts from the Old South Era though.

I picked the forties....padded shoulders, halter tops, slinky satin dresses but I LOVE the fashions from the twenties. You know...the Charleston type dresses that are all beaded with matching cloche hats or headbands with feathers and diamonds (neither of which I would wear due for political reasons). We have old family photos of dear departed family members partying the night away.....looks like they had fun!

I can't do 40's... shoulder pads on a already well.. .um packed front.... it looks horrible..


50's, skirts.. bleech!

80's! loved it... give me my Sex Pistols, Cure Tshirts, my old Army jackets, mens suits (had a David Byrne look going), my combats, and my Chucks...

I like that era too Beth, but I'd imagine it would be so dang hot to be in long dresses all the time!
