I thought this would be fun for us girls. Ok so your packing to go to WDW and you cant decide what to wearto the parks so you click on this and we got all your answers!!

Tip #1
A jean jacket is your BEST FRIEND! You can get them at old navy or gap. You can wear them with anything. You can add a a cute scarf and a cute disney tee to match!

Tip # 2
You all heard of this one.. WEAR COMFTY SHOES!! tennis shoes are the best. Nike, Sketchers, are just a few brands. (it always bugs me when I see 30 year old ladies wearing stilletos but thats just me)

you can put as many tips as you want! =)

Tip #3-

ALWAYS bring flip flops. Since you're walking so much when you're in disney, you migh get blisters. So bring flipflops incase you do!

Tip #4-

Bring a light jacket because sometimes it can get a little chilly at night.

Tip #5 ALWAYS bring an extra pair of shoes to the parks. After awhile your feet WILL hurt. Switch the shoes and you'll feel better in no time!

I completely disagree with the jackets, at least for the time of year we mostly go. In September it is hothothot and there's absolutely no need for a jacket, so don't waste the space in your suitcase!

Tip #6 Don't wear a short dress or skirt if you plan on riding a lot of rides. It's inevitable that you WILL (accidentily) flash someone when you're trying to get out of the ride.

Tip #7 Don't wear white shorts/pants if you're going to be riding the water rides like Splash or Kali.

Tip #8 Don't bother with trying to make your hair pretty. Your efforts will be futile.

I usually go in december around christmas. Sometimes it can get a little chilly at night.

#9 Don't wear white shorts or white shirts (unless you wear something colored underneath) its just a recipe for disaster and no offense I don't want to see your bright colored undies when you get drenched on Kali River Rapids!!

#10 Comfy shoes are a must!!!! I have a foot that recently had surgery so I just go with flip flops cuz my foot isnt jammed into a shoe and then my feet can breathe!!

#11 If going during the hotter times just bring tank tops!! You will get hot and being covered up in a tee will make you alot hotter!!

Thats my tips!!! Also, what a great thread!!

i was in disney world for my moms wedding in january a few years ago. the day of her wedding was the lowest temperature in central forida in the last ten years. but i wouldn't wear a jean jacket. i wore zipper jackets and long sleeves and a coat.

i think jean jackets are kinda tacky, and not really very comfortable. even in the hot months, it gets chilly at night sometimes, so a light, comfy jacket is something you might want to pack. (plus planes are ALWAYS cold to me, but i'm always cold)

so i say no to jean jacket, yes to zipper hoodie.

I suggest not wearing a jean jacket, mostly because if it gets wet you're screwed til it dries. Wet denim is soooo uncomfortable.

#12 Ok, they might look a little goofy, but crocs are good because they're waterproof, stay on better than flip-flops, and are COM-FY! and u can buy cute disney charms!

I wouldn't wear a jean jacket either. I would wear a zip-up hoodie, like I said.
And planes are always cold to me too, but when i get off it's sooo hot.

Personally, I don't agree with either #1 or #2
for #1 because, in May-September its HOT HOT HOT, no need for a jacket, and jean jackets really aren't that... cute. IMO totally

for #2 I never wear sneackers, it rains a lot when we go, I wouldn't want my socks and sneackers to be all wet and just more smelly. IMO...

Kelly, I was talking about September. When we went in early December I wore jeans and a hoodie every day all day. It was pretty chilly most of the time.

I wear flip flops too, guys. I do suggest getting some with some kind grippy (?) sole at the bottom. Not like Old Navy's. Their flip flops are just pretty slick on the bottom. With that kind of sole you will for sure go sliding if your shoes get wet. I was coming down the monorail ramp last year and it was raining, and I basically just slid a few feet down because of my shoes, lol. But I do suggest flip flops in the summer, because your feet will be able to breathe and they're cooler.

Yeah I know. I've never been there in september, we always go in the winter, so I don't really know what the temp. is like in the fall there.

I know by know I sound like I'm advertising crocs;), but croccs make some cute flip-flops that are comfy and grippy on the bottom. And I like Jean Jackets, but I don't think they'reall that great for Disney because of the Wtaer Rides. But if you didn't do Water Rides and u went in like, December, then it could be good.

#13? (I think its 13) Wear a bathing suit under your clothes every day. Board shorts are good too. Its very uncomfortable to walk around in wet clothes, even though you'll dry fast in the hot sun. I personnally don't like wet clothes.

you can't wear an uncovered baithing suit top (like a bikini) in non-water parks. you'll be asked to cover up, and ifyou can't, you'll be asked to leave.

Oh I know, I wouldn't do that. Sorry if I confused u. I meant under clothes, like under a shirt. I usually wear it under a cami, tank, or tee. I do that for all amusment parks I go to. I'm just more comfy like that.
