The only time credit counts have changed are for the Candlelight Processional dining packages. In 2009 all CP packages were 2 credits per person, where ordinarily all the participating restaurants cost 1 credit per person.

Do you think you can add the dining plan to a room ressie if we are using our GAD tix as our only park day???? Any one come across this yet.

I wonder if we could check in and add our GAD tix voucher to our myw card at the hotel desk and then add dining plan when we are there??

Unless you fit one of the exceptions (annual passholder, DVC member, military discount) you must buy at least a one-day park ticket as part of your reservation package in order to add a dining plan. You can't add a dining plan at the front desk upon arrival. The dining plan must be added to your package no later than 3 days before arrival. You won't be able to add the GAD tickets to your key card after you arrive to make a package reservation. Package reservations have to be made and paid for in full before arrival.

1. When each person gets a apptizer does thast mean a full apptizer?,so the two of us would get two full apptizier?.
2. If there Is no apptizer we would like, can we swap It for a soup or salad?
3. On the DDxP does It matter if we use three ts meals a day or three CS meals a day?.
4.Is there any restrictions on the actual menues?

You each get your own appetizer unless the appetizer states it's for 2 people...then it's to be shared2. If there Is no apptizer we would like, can we swap It for a soup or salad? Probably

thanks,yep finally some one had the answers. I will tell you I do not plan On doing three CS,on the other hand there Is only two days that we have plan for CS and there both for Breakfast at POR.

I hope I'm posting this in the correct area. We've done a rough estimate of what our cost would be do pay out of pocket or go with the dining plan and it looks like the dining plan wins.

From what I'm reading, we would have to purchase a one day basic ticket in order to add dining? Since, my husband is active duty, we were planning on purchasing the 4 day $99 military tickets. I guess there is no way around this?

If you're eligible for the military room discount, you can add the dining plan to that offer without purchasing tickets as part of a package.

yes. i did this. i had 4 snack credits left (it was just me and my girlfriend) and we managed to save one counter service each. if you have snack credits, use them at the confectionary!! i came home with 2 pieces of fudge, one rice crisy treat and one Mega Cupcake!

Unused credits expire at midnight after you check out.

That is so good to know. I was wondering the same thing. We are coming in Nov/Dec and staying 9 nights. We are doing 7 days in park and 1 day at Seaworld. Check-in and Check-out day are for DTD for us! It is good to know that we can eat before we hit the road for the drive back home!

If I am an AP holder and need to buy a one day base ticket to get the free dinning, is this one day ticket given to you to use another time and is not attached to a room key, and can you give this one day ticket to someone else?

Two quick questions:
Are all entree items fair-game on the basic DDP? Or, do they exclude some of the more expensive items (Like $30 steak dinners at LeCellier or the fillet entree at Teppan Edo)?

At a TS place, are you able to order an appetizer/soup/salad or something and pay out of pocket at the same time you use a DDP credit for the entree/dessert, or do they create a seperate tab for this?

It's usually also coded on your room key. You can either keep the room key and use it later, or have the ticket removed from the key and put on a Tyvek ticket. I believe you need to go to a Guest Services at a park or DTD to have that done.
