Fantasyland Rides After Fireworks

Happy Wednesday! I have been searching for information on when Fantasyland rides open again after fireworks. I was watching the Disneyland app last night, and it looked like they slowly opened, maybe one at a time. I am specifically wondering about Storybook, which I did not see showing a wait time when I closed the app at 10:30. Disneyland's website shows that it runs from open to close, so I assume that would mean that it should start running after the fireworks. Does anyone have an answer? Thank you!!

Storybookland also closes for parades and I'd assume there was a second MSEP last night.

Hopefully someone else will be able to give you a better answer, but just wanted to mention that when we were there in August, the times listed for Storybookland both at the attraction and on the app were incorrect. Unfortunately I can't remember specific times, but it was listing a certain time that it would close (for the parade) and in fact they closed earlier than that ... by quite a bit, like 30 minutes or so. I remember because I really wanted to ride it and had been planning on doing so right before they closed, but when I got there they had already shut down and I was early.

I also remember running back over there after either the parade or fireworks ... they were open and we got to ride. Hope someone else knows something more definite because I'll be trying to do the same thing later this summer!

Thank you!! I did not even think about a second parade! :)

Does anyone know if the ride would open between the fireworks & parade? Or how soon after the second parade it would open? Thanks!

During fireworks, Dumbo, Tea Party, and Casey Jr are always open. I can't remember if Alice is also open, but I have memories of coming out on the upper outside area to seeing fireworks burst as the doors opened!

The rest of the rides (Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinnocchio, Carousel, and Mr Toad) open up about 15 minutes after fireworks end. They usually hold you at the rope near Mr Toad and walk you over to Peter Pan as there will be a line of people already formed. It takes longer for them to open up the castle entry as they wait until the Hub crowds have died down.

Storybook Canals close pretty much from the first MSEP until end of the night. In the times I've been recently in the past few months they haven't opened between the parades or after the 2nd parade. The rest of Fantasyland is unaffected by the second MSEP.

Red Rose Tavern also stays open during fireworks and parade.

They used to keep the Storybook Land line open during fireworks and just stop the boats during fireworks, even if there were guests riding. Now it seems like they cap the line at a time where they're sure they'll get through it before they start. I may be misremembering, but I think Casey Jr also used to stop during fireworks.

When we went in August 2016 at least 2, possibly 3, nights we rode Storybook canal boats after the fireworks and then headed to Main Street and watched the second parade from the first or second row. It was my absolute favorite way to end our evenings in the parks!

Thank you very much for your very detailed post!!! :) It is very helpful! Based on the above section, you think it's possible that Storybook won't open again once it closes, is that correct?

I have heard of people that have watched the fireworks from the Storybook boats, which sounds awesome! :)

I am hoping this is still accurate! We'll ride it during the day, but I love it at night, too! :)

Been here 3 days and storybook has been never open after fireworks
