Fantasy Room 8684 (at the back)

I realize things can change but it looks like we’ve been assigned this room. Is it really loud at the back? We’ve always just had rooms midship. TIA!

I was in room 6192 in 2020 and really enjoyed being back there. Virtually no hall noise, loved the view, not as windy like on the sides of the ship. Neat to look down and see the flag and characters hanging off the ship too. I didn't find it much noisier than any other part of the ship I've stayed in.

We had this room on the Fantasy in 2018 and a deck below it 7690 on the Dream in 2017. We loved being aft on the ship and it would be my choice if/when cruising again. The balconies are huge (8684 had full loungers, 2 chairs & 1 side table when we were on it). There is some vibrations when coming into ports but it didn’t bother us. We didn’t notice extra noise from the ship and found the hallways really quiet (only those staying back there tend to come back that far)

We were exactly 3 floors below - in 5688. The vibration and noise were HORRIBLE. The Fantasy is well-known for its aft issues. Ours was a DVC cruise and completely full so they couldn't even move us. Disney was WELL aware of the issue. On top of that we had a disgusting smell coming from the bathroom that it took them 2 days to fix. I couldn't wait to get off the ship and go home to get some sleep! We always cruise aft (whatever cruise line) but you couldn't give me a free cruise in that room. WORST cruise ever.
