Welcome to the cruise!

The Fish Extender exchange is a group gift-giving activity.

You make or purchase a "Fish Extender" which you hang on the fish outside your stateroom. The extender typically has at least one pocket, usually more, and is decorated to your Disney/nautical tastes.

Here on the cruise meet we organize a list of who wants to participate and the first names/ages of the people in each stateroom. Then each group brings gifts and gives them out during the cruise. The first names/ages are good if you want to give something specifically for boys and girls or that is age appropriate.

The gifts themselves can range from little items from a dollar store, customized magnets, homemade craft items, burned CDs, etc. It's up to you how much you want to spend, or spend time making -- it's just supposed to be fun to get little surprises during the week.

Have another cabin for the fish exchange. My friend is traveling with her DS who will be 10 when he cruise. They will be in room 7192. Is there an updated list for the fish exchange so far? I am going to try and get some of my gifts done and put away.

Just thought I would pop in and let you know that my SIL is no longer on this cruise. Thegreatcornholeo, cabin 6688. She jumped ship with my family to go on the Mediterranean. I'm really excited for the Mediterranean, but seeing how much closer this cruise is and all the cool things on the Fantasy I wish we could still be on this one too! Too many cruises, not enough time/money....

I did a little research and it appears JetBlue, unlike SWA, doesn't actively provide expected schedule opening date information. Instead they recommend joining their TrueBlue program so you will receive an email on the day the schedule opens, or you can skip joining and just follow them on Facebook or Twitter (@jetblue).

I like how SWA does it -- they always list an expected date on their Travel Tools page.
