FYI... JetBlue does fly out of Hartford now as well.


Anyone know about parking in Hartford or Bradlley? Availability and how much does it cost? I usually fly out of Westchester because I have a friend who lives right near the airport. I park in her driveway.

I park at Roncari with AAA rate it is 47.34 + tax and airport fees a week

Galaxy which is next door owned by Roncari is self park and is 33 for a week +tax/fees

Woo-Hoo we're in!!

Just caught up on this thread and it looks like we're cruising with a bunch of great people!!

This is our 8th Disney Cruise (well it's only our youngest DD's 7th, she hates that we are one up on her, especially when we got our gold lanyard and hers was still silver!!).

We will also have 2 or 3 other cabins along in our group, they might join us on the boards soon.

We are most definitely in on the FE's, we loved doing this in the past!

In our Cabin, #10516, is myself Denise, my DH Rob, and our 2 DD's Kenzee who will be 16 and Sammi who will be 12 at the time of the cruise. Will there be any other 16 year old girls? She is a bit shy and on our last cruise on the Dream, she would not go to the teen club. I was hoping she might be able to hook up with a few others, maybe on FB, before the cruise!

Woo-Hoo we're in!!

These prices are great! Parking at Westchester is significantly more. I also noticed JetBlue has raised their prices at Westchester. I am going to have to look into alternative airports. I recently flew out of NYC and hated it. I just don't have the patience anymore. I think I am equidistant to Bradley and Stewart.

Airlines are now required to advertise the "real" price with all fees included. That may be why JetBlue has "raised" their prices... Just to give you a heads up. Happy searching!

JetBlue doesn't have hidden fees. That's why I fly them. But it looks like they might be making up for that free luggage thing. LOL

Hi Cruisers I hope everyone is happy & doing well
From time to time I look at the DCL site to see if/how the prices have changed since I booked (2 months or so ago) I booked a cat 5c and though I don't see that available now, the 5a is $2,000.00 more now I wish I knew what the prices were when they first came out...or maybe I wouldnt want to know lol I'm happy I purchased so far in advance Does anyone else check the prices still?

Yes, I booked on the first day 2013 dates were available on Oct 18 2011 and I would check the prices periodically since then.

The fares for my category stayed the same nearly all that time up until the last couple of weeks. I looked either last week or the week before and the price per adult had gone up about $140. Now I've looked today and the price per adult is up $308 over the original fare.

So at least for my category, the price was static for a long time. Now it appears people are starting to book and the prices are moving.

Hi Everyone - we're on this cruise as of right now, too. We did the Presidents' Week on the Wonder last week and rebooked onboard for this cruise next year. We're a family of 5 and there weren't any category 4 rooms available, so I ended up with two 5A (10512 and 10524), which is a little more than I hoped to spend, so I'm not sure what we'll end up doing. Anyway, the Wonder was our first cruise and we loved it, and we're looking forward to both the Fantasy and the Caribbean itinerary.

It is myself, DH, and 3 DS - 12, 10, and 7 this time next year. I'll wait a while until we figure out if we're going to make changes with the rooms before signing up for the FE.

I see lots of you are from the NYC area - we're from the "other" NY (western NY), but I'm sure we all have the same goal of fleeing the cold!

Airlines are now required to advertise the "real" price with all fees included. That may be why JetBlue has "raised" their prices...

JetBlue doesn't have hidden fees. That's why I fly them. But it looks like they might be making up for that free luggage thing. LOL

It's only the mandatory fees that have to be included now. Baggage, seating and priority boarding fees do not have to be included. You may be noticing a difference because _taxes_ must now be included in the advertised price. I don't think any of the airlines included taxes in their advertised fares before. Now they are all required to do so.

I do! Our category 5E, is now more than $400 per person higher than it was when we booked! Glad we booked when we did!

I do this periodically just to see. Our category is now $1218 higher than it was when we booked it less than 6 months ago. It was $40 to move it when we did and I'm glad we decided to move last month rather than wait to see what would happen.

I'm in New Fairfield. Yesterday we had a nice mix of snow and slushy rain. Turned to all rain but we still have the white stuff laying around. We actually had flurries on and off all day today but nothing stuck.

Yesterday, here in Northwest Indiana, we had daytime temps in the low 60s and 30s and snow by the evening!
