Fantasy 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise 8/2/14 - 8/9/14

Either way is fine by me. We are the same as you, my parents will be in the adjoining cabin but they are not participating so I did not list them.

We are enjoying 10 inches of beach snow today. We have off school today, tomorrow and probably Friday since the weather is still frigid. CRAZY. On a good note, I'm finally starting to do some excursion research.

Are you guys getting passports? Disney recommends them but doesn't require them. I'd just hate for the kids to get sick or something happen at home that we had to leave from a port and not have passports. But the cost for four of them is so high!

We are renewing our 3 daughters passports in May when the middle DD turns 18 since adult passports are good for 10 years.

My younger brother and his family used their birth certificates and had no issues except my brother lost his birth certificate and had to rust to get another one.

I sent an email to my entire cruise party asking them to physically look for their travel documents a month before the cruise and he looked and couldn't find it:scared1:

The birth certificate came two days before we left:woohoo:

Joe also has two cabins, and has listed on one line. I have two cabins, but only 1 is participating.

Personally, I think it will be best, especially if you are willing, for us to list 1 cabin per line. (Joe, I'll happily adjust yours.)

I believe that it will be easiest overall for All participants if we can consider each cabin and its occupants. Though my parents are traveling with us, since they aren't participating, I'll remove them from my line.

The Only problem I foresee with my plan, is that we need to have the understanding that 20 cabins will not necessarily translate to 19 "gifts" since some families have more than 1 cabin. I don't believe that is a problem, myself, but please speak up if others disagree!:listen:

We have connecting cabins for just our family but we only put out one FE. I don't know which one that the girls will put it out front of:confused3

YES, we already have passports. I have had mine since after "Sept 11" happened. It is a lot easier to travel with. I would not want to get stuck in a country without the proper doc's to get back home in an emergency. My Aunt's grandkids are getting their's renewed. I am surprised that they are not needed. They are an investment but could be handy.

You've helped me create MY answer to the question. Let us structure the Fish Extender list according to the NUMBER of Fish Extender Hangers.

Joe - 5 people in 2 Cabins but _1_ FE, so he is a single line.

Teri - 5? people in 2 Cabins with _2_ FEs, so _2_ lines.

Does this seem like a workable solution??

Thanks!

:cool1: Okay, sound good to me!!! :cheer2:

On another note, I am starting my craft project for some Mickey shirts. I have been reading about Tye dye shirts and started my project. I will be the brightest on board, LOL :rotfl2:

That seems reasonable to me. I have started working on my FE gifts - helps to dream of cruising when the weather is so yucky and I am working so much!
Thanks for keeping us organized Joy!

I got an official letter in the mail with a check from Disney:confused3 I thought I was being punked or someone was trying to run a scam on me because I take so many DCL cruises:scratchin

When my wife got home she said that she forgot to tell me that since I spend so much on Disney, she bought me stock:rotfl2:

Ha! How great is that? :) Wish I would have thought of that for my hubby's birthday.

Hi everyone,
I discovered a fish extender group and a disney graphics group on Facebook. Just enter those search terms in and you should find them. You just request to join. Lots of fun ideas over there. :woohoo:

Hi all,
We just booked our second Disney Cruise :cool1:, (Last one was 5 summers ago). A friend of mine told me about the fish extender group and I was looking for one to join. Since I am new to this board, I am not sure what to do. Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the group:goodvibes

Please read this thread and it will give you info as to how to prepare for the FE exchange.

Joe

I checked the DCL website for our cruise and they only have Second Seating for dinner at 6 months out. I guess this will not be an issue for our California friends because early dining might be too early:confused3

:dance3: Welcome!!
If you are on Facebook, search for Fish Extenders and join the group, there are two. I just did it today and have learned so much about what to do and ideas. I am new to this FE stuff too and have learned so much by reading our entire thread, facebook groups and on Etsy dot com :cheer2:

Thanks! I added our names to the Google doc.
We will be celebrating my birthday on the ship and then again at WDW after we disembark. We are really look forward to the trip. Our DD (8) was 2 1/2 when we cruised the last time and she doesn't remember much. She can't wait to check out the Oceaneer Club.

:confused3 Not a problem for me, I fly across the country, go to bed, wake up and poof I am adjusted. No jet lag for me. I never think "oh, it is this time at home", I only do that if I have to make a call home!! We have early sitting too.

Hi Jennifer, are you on the August 2 sailing of the Fantasy? That is what this thread is for. If so, just join the spreadsheet on page 1 of this thread, if not - go to the original cruise meets page and find your cruise date. Hope that helps!
