We are scheduled on the 7 night Eastern Caribbean. Trying to figure out what show is the evening of Tortola, which is also Pirate Night, in the main theater before dinner. We have an excursion booked that doesn't arrive back until 5:15 (trying for the earlier departure but it was sold out - booo....). Does anyone know what the main show is that evening? May help us decide if we cancel as we don't like to miss the big main shows. Any help?? It's the 4th night of the cruise and I can't find current navigators to check.

Typically, the show on Pirate night is either a movie, or, sometimes, an individual entertainer. No production show(everyone's involved in the Pirate shows elsewhere).

Ok - that is good to hear! So worst case, if it takes us longer to get ready....it's not a main show.

On a separate note - when is the best time to check to see if the earlier excursion has spots open up? I assume 3-4 days pre-sale right when people have to cancel?

Just keep checking the website, like you are looking to book excursions. If it opens up, it'll show that way, and you can select it. The website then asks which one you want. At least, it used to work that way.

Beyond that, check once you board at the Port Excursions desk to see if you can switch.
