Fantastmic Dinner Package

I have tried to book this & was told that the latest sitting for the dinner package is 4.50, to allow time to get to the show. Is this true? Should I try again? It seems very early for a dinner package.

It does seem a bit too early, unless it takes ages to serve the food. The show usually starts at 9 pm and JoePublic is told to get in a good 40 minutes before hand.

I would give them another ring and just see what they say.

What time of year are you booking for? As I know the dinner package does open up later dates nearer the time but even still sometimes they are not that late depending on the time of Fantasmic.

I booked a Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic package yesterday and got a 5.30pm seating. I was told this was the latest they seated for Fantasmic packages and it was fine for our needs. I'd try calling them again.

I booked one this week for 5pm, the CM didn't say anything about a cut off time.

Thanks guys, I tried yesterday for 1/6, I asked cm 3 times as I thought it much too early for dinner, he said 3.30-4.50. I rang 190 days out for the first 10 adr's, then a few days later for the other 4. Forgot the fantastmic package, booked Le Cellier & Chef Mickey's for the same night & wanted to make some changes. Everything I asked for was booked up. I know from these boards to keep trying, so fingers crossed.

lJust called back & told same thing. Although, he did say 5.20 on 31/5 available. Now I'm more confused. Could'nt get the others either.

we had a 4.30 res at BrowDerby and it seemed fine to us, we treated it as a late lunch. You don't have to go direct from your meal to fantasmic, we did some rides!

Thanks Enright78. The plan was to do MGM emh with early lunch at Sci fi, back to hotel pool and then back to Mgm for fantastmic. We are sharing lunch but wanted more time to get back.
I think I may have to change some of the plans, it's just so complicated because we have most meals in place now & I have planned around those.

I see what you mean, we treated it as our main meal of the day so it did work for us. Maybe you don't need to do it at all, even with Fantasmic Package passes we still turned up about 50 minutes before the show and seeing how fast it filled up this was probably the bare minimum. Some others have suggested bringing in fast food earlier and making a kind of picnic of the wait which seems a good idea?

I got a 5.30pm seating at Mama Melrose, maybe it is the latest available as they are booked up after that time

Thanks for the info everyone. I asked 3 times & he replied that booking the package was only available 3.30-4.50. The 2nd cm said 4.50 latest booking for package, but could have anytime without. I think maybe they will release later ones nearer the time, if not full. I am going to try one more time this week & then a few weeks before we go. Thanks again.
