I just had to nip on and say what a great day I've had running Race for Life 2008!

It was my first time running in the event and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it! I would recommend it to any ladies, such a fulfilling day and you really feel like you've achieved something :) I didn't get tonnes of sponsor money, but what I do have will hopefully help along the way!

Again, get involved in next year's event if there's one local to you, you'll have a blast and it's such an emotional rollercoaster! Joy and saddness rolled into one, but mostly celebration of all the people in which cancer affects and have beaten the horrible disease. And lots of paid respects for those that it has sadly taken from us!

Tired legs now, but very worth it! Bring on Race for Life 2009!! :thumbsup2

Well done to you :thumbsup2 , what a fab achievement. Now have a restful evening :goodvibes

I have lost people i love very much to cancer and to be in with people who have felt the same loss is very emotional. But very comforting too in a strange way.

Reading that today makes my aches and pains feel worthwhile! I am very sore today, but it's nothing compared to what some are going through.

I thank you all for the kind messages of support and that you feel proud :) It's helped lots!

I'll be looking to run again next year once the dates are released. Alongside Belle68 by the sounds of things! I wish you all the best in your continued battle against a horrid disease, you sound like such a strong lady!

Lots of hugs for you and keep fighting, you can do it!!
