There is one really great benefit of the FP+ change over that my DH (A.K.A. Computer Geek!) told me about could be rolled out by Disney in the next few years. Never did I or will I say this is true but DH says that it can very easley be done now.
DH says that because the FP+ system is gathering data on all of us, the Disney data collection can be used to show via an online calendar Website, near real time, predicted crowd levels in each park.
YAY!!!!

DH says; because the FP+ database collects the names of the Guests, the tickets for the parks that the Guest has, the Guest chooses 60 or less days in advance, the crowd levels in each park based on the FP+ bookings.
You see, we can't book a FP until we have a ticket linked to our account (this part could change in the future). Once you have a ticket linked you can then book your FPs. On the FP booking page you pick the people for the FP, the park you want to attend, and the time for the FP. As we Guests book our day, park, and FP times the database is updated with all that info. Sooooo that data can be mined and reported on and output to a Webpage with a calendar on it. We Guests can look at it and it will tell us if the crowd levels are going to be high, medium, low or nonexistent (don't I wish) on each day. The levels would change daily based on the FPs that we Guests are booking and changing and even canceling.
WOW!!!! Disney loves technology!!! I hope they put it to this kind of use!!!
