on mouseinfo, it said that fantasmic would be closed(?) until april 10......so does that mean it will start up again the 11th....we will be there the following week...

Not likely. Last year it didn't start up again until early June.

rivers of america are supposed to be filled by April 9th--can't do fantasmic without the river so keep you fingers and toes crosssed--it might happen!

I wouldn't look for Fantasmic to return until about June 6th.

Made PS seating for DL and DCA just yesterday. The reservation CM told me the Rivers, and therefore Fantasmic, will not be back until June. But, what do they know. We will be there the weekdays of April 7-11, and, beside Fantasmic, there will be no California parade at DCA and the sit-down restaurants, with the exception of Ariel's, are not open either. Gone is ABC Bistro and The Golden Vineyard Room is only open on weekends. The weekday hours for both parks are pretty short, 10-6 for DCA and 9-8 for DL. Since it sounds like this is one of three major spring break weeks, why won't they do something about the evenings???? Reminds me of October after 9-11 when we were at WDW when I became "abitjaded", they decreased the hours, did away with Early Entry (though everyone still showed up early and stood for hours waiting to get into the parks), closed a bunch of stuff and made a lot of really depressed CMs right in the middle of our visit. Sorry, just had to vent. We have a ton of guidebooks and they are all outdated just due to DLP cut-backs.

I heard this rumor also and think it stinks. Esp. since the reason (the premier of the Pirates of the Caribean movie) won't even be open to the public and will cause "traffic" nighmares in that area of the park.
