Which show should we choose to go to?

We are first timers and so we have no idea what to expect?

We will be there June 26th - 28th.

Which show should be go see? If I understand correctly, they have two shows?????

We will be getting the dessert package but I don't know which one to choose.

First Show or Second Show?????:confused::confused::confused:

if you are getting the dessert package then my suggestion would be to do the first show because right after, they show the fireworks and you will get to stay there in your seats for that...unless of course you have your heart set on watching them in front of the castle then i would do the 2nd show....:goodvibes

Fantasmic was always a tough show for my family, as we have kids, but really do not like camping out well in advance of any show. I was planning on camping out on an upcoming night, when we were getting off Splash Mountain and saw the 1st show ending, at that point we had a "lightbulb light' moment and just literally walked right into the center rail and sat down with a few dozen other people for the 2nd show. My kids had no problem staying up and it wound up being fantastic or Fantasmic :)

If you are getting the dessert package then for sure do the first show. Most of the advantages of the dessert package are lost for the second show IMO. By this I mean folks are tired and sometimes staying up late for the second show is hard. And it is harder to enjoy when you are tired. Another advantage is that to get a decent non-reserved spot to view the first show takes at least two hours. For the second show it only takes 30-40 minutes. You get bigger bang for the buck as in more saved time by seeing the first show if you have a reserved seat.

Since you will have a reserved seat then see the first show.
