I hear tickets for the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet (balcony seating) are hard to come by, can tickets be ordered through Vacation Planning? And if I bought my package through Costco Travel, can I even use VP?

In your opinion, is it worth the money to see Fantasmic from the balcony? I've read threads where people have waited hours just for a space to watch the show, I am definitely not doing that!

We've been to Disneyland two years in a row, both times missed the show. I was thinking that it would be a nice treat for the kids.

Yep, as long as you are staying on property, vacation planning can make all the arrangements. All they need is your credit card and what night and time you need. When I talked to a CM they said they are usually the first to call and so their success rate is pretty good.

As for if it is worth it, I would say YES! Especially if you have young ones, just the fact that you don't have to wait a couple hours made it more than worth it for us...

That's exactly what I was thinking! I'll call VP tomorrow to make my reservations.

It still seems like alot of $$$$ for desserts just so you can "see" the show. Just how does it compare to MGM Fantasmic show ,and Fantasmic Dinner package with reserved section of seats. If there is only 1 show of fantasmic and 1 parade both at same time, shouldnt we see the Disneyland 50th parade??? There are 4 guests in our party$$$$$. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Depending on the time of year you go, there are two shows and two parades during the summer months.

I've never been to WDW, but from what I hear the DL version of Fantasmic is supposed to be much better, and worth seeing. We always make an effort to see it at DL. Personally we like being right up on the water, you feel the heat even.
