Fantasmic - Where to Watch without Fastpass?

Hi all!

My wife and I are heading to DL this week after about 5 years and it looks like things have changed quite a bit with the Fantasmic viewing! It sounds like the best option (outside of the dining packages) is to get a FP for one of the two shows, but are there ANY decent viewing areas left for folks who do not have a FP?

I've seen two recent FP viewing area maps on a couple of different sites, one which shows a FP section only on the right side (while racing the river) and another that shows FP sections on both sides of the river. Does anyone know which one of the configurations is accurate (i.e. is there just one FP viewing section)?

Yes. Only the section right along the water is FP/Dinning package. The FP section is only on the right side if you are facing Tom sawyers island and for the first show it’s all standing, for the second show there are two seated sections that are dinning package for the first show. The standing spots behind the seated dining package section are all standby. For the 9pm show you can grab your spot at 7pm.
