We are planning on going to HS on 10/24, it has morning EMH that day which we plan to take advantage of, but will be spending the afternoon at Epcot. I want to go back for Fantasmic. The schedule has it listed at 730 and 9, but has the park closing at 830 so is there really going to be a 900 Fantasmic?

Yes, this is not uncommon. Most people start queuing up for Fantasmic at least an hour before showtime, so you'd want to plan to be in the park by 8:00PM (likely earlier if it is a busier time of year). When the show ends, there will be cast members directing people out of the park rather than allowing folks to wander.

Yes, just make sure you get back to DHS before the 8:30 official close or they won't let you in. After 8:30 the only options for guests in the park are to go to Fantasmic! or exit the park.

Ok thanks, we were planning on heading back around 7, but didn't really want to go to the 730 Fantasmic.

With two Fantasmic! shows that night the later one should be much less crowded, so that's a good choice.

They've been doing it this way for years. We always attend the late show because it doesn't interfere with prime riding time. We've often been able to ride Toy Story 4 times during the last hour of operation while the early edition of Fantasmic is underway.

Also, we've never found it necessary to arrive more than 10 minutes early as the theater I rarely more than half full for the 2nd performance.
