So I called today but was not able to get the balcony seating. Could someone please let me know about the riverside?? seating and some tips? As well, I was wondering if you could stay and see the fireworks from there? We have tickets for the 9:00 showing and I believe the fireworks are at 9:30.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are only going to be in DL/DCA for one day which is Saturday November 4, 2006.

Thanks,

Keri

Hi Keri,

I've sat in this section, and it is good. You won't have to stake out a spot, and can enjoy refreshments before the show, and stay for the fireworks afterwards.

At the top of this discussion board are Disneyland Resort links. Go to themeparks & then shows & parades - you'll see pictures of this area & get an idea of the location & views.

We just got back last saturday, and we had riverside for the Fri fantasmic show. It was great!! We showed up at 730, right after the parade, and were able to reserve our actual seats. Then we were able to leave, and we didn't need to come back till 830. The desserts were yummy, and we were able to stay for the fire works, so it was great!! Would definately suggest this to anyone going.

You'll enjoy them. I actually prefer riverside over the balcony. I keep telling everyone, at the riverside you experience the show while in the balcony you just watch it.

You'll have a great view of the fireworks. The only things is that you will miss out on the projections on the castle and matterhorn. The good news is Nov 4 is the last showing of Remember Dreams Come True before they start with the holiday fireworks show, so I'm pretty sure it will be packed down on Main Street.

We had Riverside seating in June and absolutely loved it. They say to check in an hour ahead of time, but I was able to check in well before that (like an hour and 45 minutes ahead of time, I think) and so we got first choice of what seats we wanted. The CM working the area where we were sitting was amazing and great with our kids while we waited for the show and they really encouraged us to stay for the fireworks. It was a nice view--and they pipe in the music for the fireworks so you can hear it. I'd encourage anyone to try Riverside--it's so close and the other poster was right--you really experience the show from there!
