Fantasmic refurbishment?????

Anyone heard that Fantasmic will be closed in early November for refurbishment? I actually booked a dinner Fantasmic last week for Nov 3 but then heard a rumor itll be closed...anyone have any info???

I just found this on the main DIS Rehab page:

Fantasmic! - Closed for refurbishment 11/1/06 - 11/8/06. Reopens on 11/9/06

I will have to confirm at Disney.com.

Exactly when we will be there! wow. Guess Ill call back and change our ressie time then for dinner.. but still...was looking forward to the show...

My kid is going to have a fit. She loves Fantasmic. She is really looking forward to it. I also made FDP ADR for 11/7. No one said anything. Nice

We are there thru the 11, so I will try and change it.

Must be pretty minor work since it's only a week. I wonder what they are doing, I can't remember seeing anything from last November that really looked like it needed fixing up.

I know this might just be my family and I, but I wish they would change that Pocahontas / Gov. Ratliffe / John Smith section in Fantasmic. It seems odd and very out of place with the rest of the show.

Well I just called down to Dining reservations and she claims to know nothing about it. She checked with a supervisor too who also has heard nothing of Fantasmic closing then. She also said something about they'd call me if it does happen- to reschedule the ressier??? Anyway , will keep my ears to the drumbeat before actually cancelling the time I have...

but is this fantasmic at the park in florida or california? i'm going to the cali disney around this time period and i love fantasmic!!

In Florida. Starting to see more stuff about it being for sure closed, so I guess thats whats going to happen.
