I am trying to book a Fantasmic package [preferably River Belle (premium), then Blue Bayou or Hungry Bear in that order] for 3 on May 4. The website says " This experience is not offered on the date selected. " Is this really the case or is this the standard phrase when the packages have sold out? Would it be worthwhile to keep checking for cancellations in the latter case? And how busy would the second show be? [On the off-chance that any Disboarder has a dinner package for that day that they are cancelling, please let me know :)]

May 4th is Star Wars Nite. The event is sold out and DL will close at 8 PM for non-party guests. (Star Wars night for no tickets)
Can you see F! on another night?

Ah, okay. I had somehow missed the Star Wars night announcement. I did see availability for May 12 I think. But this would not do for us. This is not actually a dedicated Disneyland vacation, but rather a " while we're in the area" visit. It's a pity, but we'll live :-). We will have to plan Rise of the Resistance carefully then on that day.
