Fantasmic Package and Credit Card?

Sorry, I have looked for this but can't find it...They took my credit card to hold the package which is fine. We are using the dining plan, so what happens next? Do they not charge my card as long as we show up? It's not a huge deal since it's only $10 per person, but the rep kept saying, yea I'm pretty sure, or I think.....

In January they took the CC info when I made the ADR, but they didn't charge the card at all. I used the dining plan. I think if you need to cancel you have to do it at least 24 hours out or they do charge your card.

Can I use the dining plan for the Fantasmic deal and is it one or two credits?

Also, what about the candlelight processional?

I made an ADR for the Candlelight Procession package for the first week in December. We are on the dinning plan and it will cover the CP package, however they did take my credit card info. They explained that I must cancel 48 hours out. If we show up, my credit card will not be charged and we will be charged 1 TS per person. If we do not show up or cancel within 48 hours they will charge my credit card the full amount of the package.
I would imagine it works the same way for the Fastmic Package which is 1 TS for MM or H&V or 2 TS for Brown Derby. All CP packages are 1 TS.

We're doing the Fantasmic pkg our first night (Sept 22nd) and are on free dining. However, I have an aunt who is in the hospital at the moment. She is stable, but her doctor says he's going to keep her at least another two weeks and then she has to go to rehab for awhile. The last few days my mom has been making comments that she may not get to go on our trip the 22nd, because she's not sure she wants to leave her sister. My question is, if just two of us show up for our ADR (which is for three people) what will Mama Melrose do? Will they charge my CC for the third person, even though two of us did show up? This close to the date I know there's no way I could cancel the Fantasmic pkg and then rebook it for two.

I would check about how much you will be charged for cancelling late. Last year it poured all day and we cancelled a couple of hours before hoping Disney would cancel. I was told people expect the show so they only cancel in EXTREME weather not just a rainstorm. We were charged $10 each on the credit card. We're going again in December and I think we will just take our chances the night we eat dinner at 50's PTC.

We did it in July and gave a credit card to hold the reservation. I was told that we had to cancel 48 hours in advance, or we'd be charged $10 per person. Because we had the DDP, we just used that to pay for the meal, and nothing was charged on the credit card at all although I'd given my number when I made the reservations. This is exactly the same policy at Akershus in Norway (for princesses) by the way. Mama Melrose is a one credit meal.
