I just checked DL website & they have posted that during our stay Fantasmic & fireworks would only be shown one night only (sunday night).

How do we watch both? :confused3 We have never attempted to accomplish this before.

All inputs are appreciated :goodvibes

What are the times for each show during your stay, mainly the fireworks? Sometimes the fireworks are after or before the first F!

In late May, the regular schedule for the fireworks will be back to its normal time at 9:30 and F! will be running twice on that day.

If F! is running two shows that night on Sunday, you first should do the fireworks around the Hub and than after the fireworks you can walk on over to the ROA for the 2nd show of F!. This is one of the best ways to watch both the fireworks and F! in a good view. You also can do the first show of F! and than after F! you can stay in the same area to watch the fireworks. But it is not the same when you watch the fireworks in front of SB castle during RDCT.

Yes we are in the same boat...going Sunday May 22 thru Wed May 15...pretty sure Sunday will be only day for fireworks and Fantasmic. Like above posted said, we will do Fireworks first, try to stand closer to the Hub by Frontierland, and then head over for Fantasmic. Hope it works out!

But don't forget one thing Purplegal, if you are watching from the Frontierland side, the trees from the Plaza Carnation Gardens can block a little bit of the fireworks. I have seen that side before and it was kind of annoying not to see part of the fireworks from that side. You are right that this is the fastest way to towards the ROA after the fireworks and to over to the 2nd show of F!.

Ah thank you for the tip! I was basing that on some tip I read here, some spot where the ropes go and it said to stand by the holes for the ropes and wait. :confused3:laughing: According to that tip the trees did not block...what do you think? (my husband joked that we would meet other DIS boarders that read the same tip..)

This is what I've always done and it's worked out beautifully for me. Granted, getting from the hub to ROA can be a traffic jam most of the time, it's definitely better than staying at ROA to watch the fireworks.

There is a rope off area right by the Frontierland entrance where you enter after the fireworks is over for the 2nd show of F!. I believe this is what you are talking about. There is a gap where you can watch the fireworks over the Plaza Carnation Gardens. I have never tried that spot during the fireworks, but there can be just enough to see the fireworks. I would think that it will block part of the castle during the show.

Thanks for the replies, the thing is that my mom really really wants to see the fireworks in fro of the castle & since she hasn't been to DLR in over 5 years I would love to grant her that.

I guess we are just going to have to fight heavy traffic :sad2:

Have you heard of the light tower tirick for Fantasmic? If you don't mind standing it is a very good tip for when you go from Fireworks to Fantasmic on a crowded day it insures a spot even if you get there after the crowd. There is a thread on this topic but basically the center light tower used in F! is lowered until about 15 minutes before showtime and no one stands behind it because they think it will block their view. The tower is just to the right of the dessert seating area if you are facing the island.

Just as Sherri said, the F! Light Tower Trick is a good tip for people who do not want to wait a long time for a spot during the F! show. I have tried the Light Tower Trick and it is a good view for people who don't want to wait in the sitting area for hours. Mostly when the Light Towers are not fully raised before the show they are half down and people think that it will block them when they watch the show. Than when it is raised, you will have a good spot to watch the show without waiting too long.
