Fantasmic during low season?

Safe to assume they only show Fantasmic on weekends? According to the March schedule (we are going in May - schedule isn't updated yet), it shows Saturday nights. If so, I'm considering altering our stay. We were going to book for Monday to Friday to avoid weekend crowds, but perhaps we could just go Saturday simply for the fantasmic?

friday night should be included for weekend schedules. if that makes a difference.

If you want five days, IMHO Tue-Sat is better during low season as it will give you both Fri and Sat night to see shows. By Sat you will have ridden everything you want and will be re-riding favorites. And Fri during the day will not be bad. Fri night will get more crowded.

I just thought I would mention to mommyof2boys1girl that what happened in May 2007 regarding the schedule for Fantasmic isn't really the norm for May considering Fantasmic was dark due to the re-theming and constuction taking place on Tom Sawyer Island.

However, in the fall of 2007 (low season), Fantasmic showed Sat & Sun nights. For either night, the first show was at 9:00pm, and the second show was at 10:30pm. Obviously I'm not sure that this will be the schedule for this coming May, and the Disneyland website can be horribly slow in updating park schedules. It can make it a bit difficult when trying to plan a trip.

Grrrrr....First I find out SW is going to be closed almost all year, then this I miss by two days??? Poor little DD. She is going to miss the best stuff!!!!

You are quite correct and I should have thought about that. The link provided will let you look at May 2006 as well which would be a better indicator. Also, on nights when DL has the RDCT fireworks show they almost always seem to have at least one Fantasmic.
