fantasmic dinner show

Does this mean you no longer have to wait & make the reservations from your hotel upon arrival? I know about a year ago, they wouldn't book this over the phone from home.

Gosh, I hope I'm understanding this right. That was always the one reservation I stressed over, not knowing if we'd be able to secure it or not.

I saw in your signature that it says " CT disney Nazi"....do you do CT scans? (computed tomography)? I do x-ray and ultrasound! (primarily US);)

Fantasmic pkg seems pretty open so far for May-Made my PS yesterday and was given plenty of slots for my day.

CT = Connecticut(the state) :p Sorry for the confusion

I had to change my reservation for H&V to 4 so we wouldn't miss the parade, they had nothing after 6:30. Where are you eating and when in May are you going? I was really disappointed that we couldn't get a later time.

Marybet- we are at Brown Derby on May 1st. When I called earlier this week it was pretty open.

I didn't even think of the state!LOL!! You can tell I work too much!!!

Are they still doing the packages with the preset prices for the various restaurants?

Yes, they are still making you pre-pay for this package.

I wish they would go back to the old way...:(

I was recently told when I made my PS (they ask for credit card #) that you have to cancel 48 hours in advance in order for your credit card not to be charged. She also told me I had PS for 3 adults (DD is 18) and one Junior (DS15)-is there a separate price for a junior? I thought it was adult or child only?

Has anyone sat in this reserved section before? The link makes it sound like it is not the best. What do all you experts think? I'd love to not have to camp out for an hour prior, but I don't want to pay for a meal just to get yucky seats either.

What do you all think?

Thanks!~

There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The reserved section is on the far right hand side. If you don't like waiting it's definitely worth the cost of a meal.

We were there right after 9/11/01 and did the dinner package. It was our first day and we did not realize how small the crowds would be. It was the old package and the food was good and when we got to the ampitheater there were plenty of seats left in all the sections. We sat in the reserved section and thought they were good seats. It was on the right side as you face the stage. I thought they were very good seats as the show does not take place just in the center of the stage. We are taking our grandchildren and their parents in May and I have the dinner package reserved. My DH does not like to stand in lines and I think the kids would be bored having to sit to long and wait. Since we have to eat anyway I think this is the way to go.

Thanks you guys are great. I knew I'd get the straight scoop from all you veterans out there.

I'm booking one today!
