We are going in Oct, and I was considering 2 options. We will have DD with us, who will be 1. Either we will eat dinner at Hollywood & Vine or get counterservice and take it into the theatre to eat while we wait for the show. I guess we could also eat before we get to the park if we decide to go back to the resort for a break. How does the price of the package work now? Do you pay just the HV dinner price, or is there an additional amount to pay? What would you do with a 1 year old? Eat before the show outside the park, take food into the show, or goto HV with package? Thanks!

If you want the FDP at H&V, there is an additional cost. Currently it's at $19.99 per adult/$9.99 per child (3-11) not including admission, tax, and gratuity and can be made up to 60 days in advance.

You will need a credit card when making this PS. It's not charged, just a hold. There is a cancellation policy of 48 hours or the card will be charged $10 a person for no-shows.

The advantage of the FDP is you won't have to wait in line up to an hour before the show. You walk right in and sit down. For my family with teenagers, that alone was worth the extra cost.

$19.99 is the price for Hollywood and Vine. There is no extra charge for the Fantasmic dinner package. Mama Melrose and Brown Derby have set menus to choose from (Mama's is about $28.99 and Brown Derby $36.99) BUT you may not want app.'s and desert. We choose H&V.

I read the dinner choices at Brown Derby on WDWIG's site for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I didn't see anything vegetarian on the choices. Items include Spice Grilled Filet Mignon, Pan-Seared Grouper, and The Original Cobb Salad. Were these just SAMPLE choices, or are we really only limited to 3 choices? Could I possibly order the Thai Noodle Bowl? For that kind of money ($37 pp), I would think we would have the entire menu entree options.

Did anyone here pick BD for their FDP, and did they have their choice from the menu? Thanks. ;)

Those are just samples. We ate at the BD in May using the package, & we were able to choose 1 app., 1 entree, & 1 dessert off the full menu.

It is a lot of food though, so don't eat a big lunch.:D

Did they charge you the set price or for what you ordered?

Thanks.

We are taking a one year old in November and are very excited about utilizing the F!DP. Although I'm sure we could find some way to entertain her for an hour and a half while waiting in line, if we don't have to do that, and could just eat dinner and walk in 1/2 hour or so prior to the event... well, that is a much more attractive option.

I just reserved the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Dinner package for July 21st (our 8 yr anniversary) We will have our DD7 and DD2 with us...but it's 19.99 for the adults, 9.99 for my oldest...and that included the meal and Fantasmic passes.
Our dinner will be at 7...the show at 9. They said we could leave after dinner, and come back just 30 minutes prior with our passes and go to our seats.....
:) Can't wait!!

Thanks, MichaelP. I especially appreciate the hint about a small lunch...however, I would love to try Prime Time Cafe the same day for lunch...maybe eat there around 11.

Did you enjoy the food at BD?

We went to the second showing of Fatasmic this past Monday night. Returned to the park around 8:00, Did the Roller Coaster and House of Terror, no Fastpas, went to Rosies, had a Cheeseburger and walked in to the stadium at 10:15. Stadium half full and sat ceter stage around the 30th row with a lot more money in my pocket. A must see show.
