Fantasmic Dinner pkg. entry question

I was reading the reviews for the Fantasmic dinner package. (I'm going to try Hollywood& Vine!) found one that states that with the voucher you can still use the regular entrance and still sit in the reserved section. Does anyone know if this is true? I have read that the separate entrance is quite a walk and I know my mother would have a hard time with it. I'm thinking this could be a solution. Also How long before showtime do they allow people into the theatre?

We did that same package and loved it. I am sure if you expain about your mother and the long walk they will let you in, but I would ask about it as soon as you get to your hotel or the park. You will love H&V the food was great and a wonderful selection, and fantasmic was awesome. Don't sit at
the very front though , unless you like to get a little wet. I forgot we were
let in around 25 minutes before it started.
