Fantasmic Dinner Package

My fiance and I will be reserving a Fantasmic Dinner Package for our honeymoon. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which restaurant to choose.

congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Since you will be on yuor honeymoon, I would suggest avoiding Hollywood and Vine. I haven't seen many good reveiws of that restaurant. We dined there a week and a half ago just to do the Fantasmic dinner package & it was the cheapest option. It was okay but not the greatest. I have heard very good things about Mama Melroses (that is where I will go next time) and the Brown Derby. Check out the reveiws here on the Dis and that may help you decide. I have been to all 3 restaurants, with the Brown Derby as #1!! Mamma Melrose as #2 and Hollywood & Vine as #3. Hollywood and Vine was fine, it's just sometimes after a day in the park its nice to sit down and be served, instead of having to get up and get it yourself!!

Brown Derby is more upscale and a little pricier--table cloth and good wine list. Mama Melrose's is a family-atmosphere Italian restaurant, and H & V is a fun buffet. If you're not economizing too much, Brown Derby is the best experience, especially for a honeymmon. I think the Brown Derby followed by Fantasmic is a safe bet, provided that the weather cooperates!

For your honeymoon? Brown Derby, no question! Although I would choose BD, honeymoon or not, as it's our favorite MGM restaurant!
