Fantasmic Dinner Package ??

If there are 2 showings of Fantasmic and you purchase the dinner package (would like Blue Bayou) depending on whether it is lunch or dinner, would we be assigned which show?

We would like to do lunch, but want to go to the later show..... can we?

I’m pretty sure that there is a time frame for each showing eg. 11.30-1.30 is 1st showing and 1.30-3.30 is 2nd showing. Not sure the exact times but when you go to book it tells you which showing before confirmation

Ive been doing this for a number of years. Generally reservations before 6pm are the first show, after 6pm are the second show. I usually book for around 3 or 4pm and I have always got the first show. However you may be able to request a particular show from your Blue Bayou server as they are the ones who print the Fantasmic tickets.

My Fantasmic Blue Bayou reservation is at 4:50pm and it clearly states "Blue Bayou Restaurant Fantasmic! Dinner Dining Package 1st Show." I will confirm what BadPinkTink says above. They hand you tickets for the show that you present to the CM seating everyone in the Blue Bayou seating area. You may be able to request a different show. I haven't tried. I like going to the first show, because a lot of the kiddos will go home after the first show and we can enjoy rides while everyone is watching the second show.

Thats the same as me. I go to the first show, stay afterwards and watch the fireworks, then stay in New Orleans Square and ride Pirates and Haunted Mansion during the second show

We like to go ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Matterhorn and the other outdoor rides during night. Big Thunder Mountain is great during the day, but it is so much fun at night.

I have never heard of someone having trouble requesting a change TO the second show - it’s much less popular than the first for dining packages.

If you have a second show seating and you want to change to the first show, that would likely be a problem.

I just checked on the website. For a Saturday in April a 1.20 reservation gives the first show and a 1.30 reservation is for the second show. So you can definitely have lunch, but it would have to be a later lunch.

Thanks everyone! A late lunch and a late show is what we are shooting for.
However, you all do have a good point for riding rides during the second show! Might re-think this!!
