Fantasmic Dinner Package ?

Need some advice...we have a 4:15 Fantasmic dinner ressie (actually a late lunch!) @ Hollywood Brown Derby. I know Fantasmic doesn't start until 8:30.

My question is how long is the show and can I realistically make a reservation at California Grill at 9:40? (I'd probably just take a taxi from HWS to CR to save time waiting on the bus)

I believe Fantasmic is only about 35 minutes long. So if you were to sit near the top and a little to the right side, and really hoofed it out of there at the end, you would probably make it if you took a cab from the Studios.

Glad y asked. I was wondering almost the same thing. I have ressies at BD for the package also. I will be there at 3:35 then have ressies for O'hana at 9:45. Guess we'll have to haul tail and get a cab as well.

went to the 9:00 PM show last Sunday night. Getting out of the park wasn't nearly the issue I expected. We drove to DHS that night. We caught a tram as soon as we got outside the gates and our car was parked at the first tram stop. We pulled into our resort (POFQ which is fairly close) at 9:50 PM.

I didn't notice if there were many cabs available. There were buses lined up and the bus locations were getting packed.

Via Disney transportation? I would not chance it. There's a $20 per person no show fee at California Grill if you don't make it. Taxi, you might make it if you get out of the park quickly before traffic starts.
