My travel agent is telling me that there is no longer a Fantasmic dinner pkg that will get you priority seating for the show. Is this true?:sad2:

I don't think that information is correct. :confused3

I booked 2 dinners for our March vacation. And when we were there in August, we had 2 again. They are still offering it at the Disney website: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/dining/fantasmic-dinner-package/

I think there must have been some confusion. I would double check with them if I were you.

Or you can just call WDW dining and book it yourself.

(Although some agents may not be completely up to date with their info. At the beginning of this year, they changed the separate entrance for the Fantasmic Package to the general entrance. Many were upset. But recently they have changed it again so that the location for the entrance is near the exit of the Beauty and the Beast. Hopefully it's still there. But the sections of seats are still reserved for the Fantasmic Package, the entrances are the the ones that have changed. I hope I didn't confuse you.)

Thanks! I didn't think that sounded right. I will call and book the ADR myself.

your ta must be mis-informed....however she may just be confused. its not the package that it used to be. there used to be a separate entrance called oscars i think. now that one is gone, and until recently you had to stand in a separate line next to the regular line.

however when we went in october- which by the way took many calls to disey bafter our 90 day window as they didnt open up the packages at the correct time. thanks to my disboard friends who kept me posted whe n it opened! you now have a separate entrance that isnt oscars but it is separate nonetheless.

so you now get your supper altho it can be very early-ours was 330! but we got our stub to be let in at the separte entrace for our F! package. i think your still asked to be there 45-60 mins ahead to get your seats. the very first two sections are for the reserved packages. not nessicarily the greatest seats, but it beats waiting in the regular line for up to two hrs.

if you do a search on F! packages youll bring up sev eral thread most of whihc robo has answered often will full maps on it.

one other tip- if you decide to skip it, the rest of the park is virtually empty while the line is forming and the show going on.

Thanks! I didn't think that sounded right. I will call and book the ADR myself.

You're welcome. Good Luck! :thumbsup2

It's not the easier ADR you can get. I would call at 180 days prior and if this day has passed, I would call as soon as possible. The Mama Melrose Package seems to be the first to go. I find the easiest to get is the Brown Derby Package since it costs more.

We booked the fantasmic package for march.
We always do the mama melrose one as we love the sangria there and the food.
Ask for the 5 or 515 seating as they usually try to give you an earlier seating like 330 or 4. We got 515 for ours in March and that's a good time.
enjoy!
