The last time we ate at Mama Melrose - we were under the Deluxe Dining Plan.
What is included meal wise when you pay out of pocket for the package and can I use the TIW here ?

Thanks

Well, I can only answer about what I have been hearing/reading- we are planning on booking the FDP and we are deciding between MM or HWV. MM is a little more expensive than HWV, but it does include drinks (non alcoholic, of course), while Hollywood does not.

Hoolywood is buffet, but not sure if MM is buffet or all you can eat served family style...

Yeah that is where I was confused. When I ate at MM last March - it was a sit down dinner and nothing appeared to be buffet/family style, etc..

ummmm-- curious

Thanks

The last time I ate here (May 2006), we ordered off the menu. It wasn't family style or anything like that. My family and I didn't care for it much. We've booked Hollywood and Vine for this May just for the Fantasmic package. We haven't heard very good reviews for either restaruant, but it doesn't make a difference to me as long as we get good seats at Fantasmic! It's my fave!! :woohoo:

when you reserve the Fantasmic Dinner Package, it is a set price for cash or DDP...I do not know the cash prices but I do know there is a set price because otherwise people would book it & just order a dessert & beverage...so they make sure you're ordering full meal.

On the Dining Plan, it's 1 TS credit if you choose Hollywood & Vine, or Mama Melrose. It is 2 TS credits if you choose Brown Derby (that is always a 2 TS restaurant.) We did Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package in May 2008...that is a buffett, and the drink was included on the DDP. In September 2008, we did Mama Melrose -- on the Dining Plan version of the Fantasmic Package you get an appetizer, entree, beverage & dessert. This was off the menu, order like you would in any menu restaurant (not family style, not shared dishes at all.) The Fantasmic Package is the only time you get an appetizer on a one TS meal on the regular dining plan.
