*UPDATE* Fantasmic Dining Packages Available 10/1 & after

a FDP for Brown Derby @ 3:30 on 9/29. Got this on 6/26 (my 90+10) at about 8:30AM. At first, I said no to BD because its 2 TS but, thankfully, thought better of it & called back. Two shows a week is really making this a hot ticket. I'm so glad I was able to get something as its DD's favorite show and my birthday!!

well now I am a little hopeful that something will break through for this (at 7 am tomorrow?). If they are getting inundated with phone calls don't you think someone there would catch on that something is not right?

It's frustrating - I can tell you that much. Like I said - I had been calling everyday, and they did not have October hours up - so they could not book it. And when I say every day I'm talking about me waking up at 5:45 and calling at 6.00 on the dot (I'm an hour behind)

Then yesterday - bright and early - I saw the travel agent site had hours. Yippee, I thought. Called at 6 - they didnt have hours.

Called every hour - no kidding - finally they had hours. Yipppee, I thought. Nope - No Fantasmic hours. Finally they had Fantasmic hours. Yipppee, I thought...no packages. No no no - impossible.

I told the girl - I know this is gonna sound psycho but I've been calling hourly. It's impossible - is there any way you can check and see it's actually booked (because, like you, I was getting 'booked' when just an hour earlier, they did not even have the hours) She goes. you know what? Lemme check something....

That's when she looked at all the reservations the night of 10/1 at DHS. None of them were listed as a package. She said, they must not have released them.

UGH! Okay... an hour later, I got 'theyre all booked'. I asked for Guest Services that time, cuz frankly, I'm tired of waking up early. She then looked and said - they didn't have the packages out. Okay, fine.

I then called at 9.30 - my time - and still - nothing. Frustrating.

I then started the whole stupid process again, this morning. (I need a hobby, aye? ) Same thing as yesterday - booked, not available, booked, not available, blah, blah, blah.

I talked to my Travel Agent - she was having the same luck (she's a Disney nerd like us) She was frustrated too.

Tomorrow is exactly 90 days. Perhaps, for some ridiculous, crazy reason - they will open up tomorrow.

And I think my fixation with this, is this... I got every single ADR I wanted, for every single party in my gathering (12 ppl - 4 groups) . Like I said - up at 5:45, poured my coffee, and waited for the clock to strike 6.

I was a BEAST! I was on FI-YA! Bam, bam, bam - everything I wanted.

Now I feel taunted. Teased. Toyed with.

Today was my 90 day ADR showdown. I did everything online at 6am, then called at 7am to ask for a F! package. Told me that everything was booked up. I asked how it was booked when there wasn't even a F! schedule out yet and she went on about 90+10 blah blah. Said OK thanks and went to work happy enough that out of 10 ADR's I got 8 what I wanted when I wanted. Just have 1 lunch at Coral Reef rather than dinner, and no F! package.

I called back this evening and asked them to check for one ADR that I didn't get conformation for. Nope, not showing so I had to make it over. Rainforest Cafe....never a problem to get so no big deal. I asked when F! packages will be available. He told me I could make one now since I am at my 90+. Said OK, but IS the F! schedule out yet....so he checked....nope, not loaded in the system yet. He puts me on hold to again to ask when they might be available. Came back and told me to try tomorrow, every day, 10X a day if I want. They have NO idea when they'll be loaded in. I too want one for 10-1 so I guess I'll just have to join in on the WDW-DINE stalkers association. I wish you could book that one online. I stalk a computer much better than the telephone.

Indeed. When I call they ask about my kids, my dog - how my husband's doing....they know me, it's really cool.

Like I said - tomorrow *is* exactly 90 days from 10/1 - so I'm thinking it's tomorrow.... at least that's what my Crystal Ball is telling me.

At 90 days they actually are supposed to have some also held aside for people staying off property, as well.

Hey everyone,

I found this thread yesterday as I've been experiencing similiar frustration with the Fantasmic package. I called first thing this morning and there is still nothing. Did anyone else have any luck? Yesterday a cast member told me they had not released the vouchers for this show yet, so I don't think they're available yet and they're not sold out. This is making me crazy!

I had no wait time either, so I don't think that you and I both had bad luck (in that sense). It seems they just haven't released October 1st packages yet. I'm beginning to think that perhaps they never will. They just want to see if I can get out of bed at 5 a.m. on a consistent basis.

thanks for replying. I seem to be getting different stories from the CM's about this. Dsneygirl just posted a similar thread.

Now I can see why a lot of people just aren't bothering with Fantasmic anymore.

Frustrated but I just need to let this go....

Sadly this whole thing could be avoided if they actually ran Fantasmic on a daily basis. For a company that claims to be enviromental friendly, cut back some of the amounts of fireworks used in other shows and use that money. Those fireworks are certainly not environmentally friendly.

Yep, this is nuts! Called again got right in at 7 am. nothing for Sept 29 or Oct 1.

I have snagged a regular dinner reserv at Brown derby for Sept 29 at 4:30 so I think even if its slow we can be out of there by 6:30 and then wait another 90 min! in line to try to get regular seating. Just typing that is making realize just how crazy this is!

Cathryn, feel your pain. I got everything else (for a much smaller group) but still got Le cellier, CRT breakfast, pirate crew and LTT for MNSSHP nite, just about everything else I wanted.

They are thumbing their noses at us! Sitting in their high tower offices laughing their butts off

I have a 5:45pm time at Mama Melrose's on October 4 (booked yesterday). According to the calendar it's a Fantasmic night. So I just called to see if I could add the Fantasmic dinner package and they STILL don't have the tables cleared yet.

I hope, hope, hope I don't miss out on the package.

Typically Fantasmic Dining packages are booked for up to 5pm, I've never seen later times. They want to fill the early slots that are not in high demand.

They've actually started using more eco-friendly fireworks, which is probably why the shows cost so much money - it's new technology, and expensive.

I hope the Fantasmic Dining Packages go up soon, for all of your sakes!

Is it true that you have to wait in line with the rest of the audience though? So maybe it's worth it to just get the early dinner? I've never been, this upcoming trip is my first doing Fantasmic, and I got the FDP, but haven't been hearing great things about it.

Well as for Sept 29, I think they may all be booked because I personally hold a Fantasmic package reservation for this day. I booked it way back on June 23 or 24 at the start of the booking window for my 10 day trip.

I'm hoping to get a Fantasmic package reservation for Oct 1 though because we'd rather do MNSSHP Tuesday night rather than Thursday.

Where do you have the reservation ? If you get one for Oct. 1, I would love to have the other one, unless it's for Brown Derby, we don't want to use 2 credits. Please let me know before you cancel it. Thanks

From what I have read in other threads, the dining reviews, they hold a section for "F" package holders for up to 30 mins before the show starts, so again from what I have been reading, this is a +, I guess we will we find out in Sept.....

Tried again for Oct 1 this morning ... nothing!

Last night, I had called three times in a row first speaking to two CMs who stated quite emphatically that it definately was in the system for Oct 1 (because, afterall, "the Fantasmic! hours are posted right here"). This guy carried on for 5 minutes the whole detailed procedure of how a Fantasmic dining reservation is made and implied that some dining CMs don't know what they're doing. Oh Boy. Look in the mirror buddy.

Then I spoke to a third who I could tell was different. She said from the start she didn't think they'd been loaded in the system and was able to quickly find where to check and it says "data unavailable". She said they were aware of the problem but weren't sure when it would be fixed.

It's funny how you can often tell in the first 10 seconds whether you've reached an informed CM or not.

Does someone want to try asking to speak to a supervisor to get some word on when this will be fixed??
