Family of 5 going to Disney MGM Studios on Monday, November 20th, which is an EMH night and has a 7 p.m. Fantasmic! show. Do we book an early Fantasmic! Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine OR book a late ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe and see the show at 7:00 p.m.?????
:confused3
Kids would really like to go to 50's Prime Time Cafe instead of Hollywood & Vine, but are afraid of not getting a seat at Fantasmic!, if we don't do the package. What do ya'll think?????

Is your itinerary set in stone? I don't know about winging it on an EMH night. Maybe you could do H&V for the FDP, and go back another evening for 50's PT. If your schedule will permit, of course.

as long as you get to the Fantasmic viewing area at least an hour early you should be fine no matter where you eat. You're going during a not-so peak season too (I think) and that may work in your favor. But whatever you do, an ADR is a must on EMH nights.

I had H&V booked with the Fantasmic package for this month. I ended up cancelling it and am going to wing it. I will let you all know how that works out when we get back. I have too many other TS meals not in MGM, that I would rather dine at.

We will be there that week as well, and I think we're going to wing it this time. We did the dinner package last Oct. at H&V and weren't too impressed. We LOVED Fantasmic and don't want to miss it, but we were told to arrive at least 45 minutes before the show even with the dinner package reserved seating. Getting there a few minutes earlier won't be a big deal. Plus, I'm sure our kids would prefer to dine at the dreaded Pizza Planet anyway. ;)
