Hello, we are taking our boys (7 & 4) to Disney for the 1st time :flower: Feb 4-8 - we are going straight to MGM on Saturday and will arrive around 1p do you think we need to do the Fantasmic Dinner package this time of year? We are planning on going to the later show so that we will have more time in the park. I currently have dinner res at 50's Prime Time Cafe - but I would change it if you think we will have to get on line too early for Fantasmic - any thoughts? Thank you!!

I would get in line by 6:30 for 7pm show - there is usually plenty of seats- BUT don't split up- they stop letting people in when it gets too full.

I not had it fill up during early Feb. though and we've been to Disney annually for the past 5 years. The only time it filled up was at Xmas time. Early Jan/Early Feb. - you should be OK. :-)

have fun...we'll be there Feb. 4-Feb.11th this year too. If this is your first time- be sure to read ahead so you know what you want to get done...

I wouldn't worry about the package. My DH and I went there last year at that time and again this year Feb.4-11th. We didn't have any trouble getting a great seat. We just got in line early. Our seats were much better than the dinner package people who had to sit on the sides. We were in the center. It was great. Also Since we got there so early we had a very nice conversation with the family behind us. They had 5 kids and we were on our honeymoon. :goodvibes

Maybe we'll see you there on the 4th :sunny:

Only 27 days to go!!!!

Thank you - how early did you have to get in line? The reservationist told me not to worry either, and he said 30 minutes prior to the 8:30 show would be enough. Are you going on the 4th too? My name is Nicole too! see you there!

We were there that time last year.

I wouldn't worry about it at all! (Plus I think the reserved seats stink!).. Plus, the restaurants that offer the package don't appeal to my family (which prefers 50s PTC and Sci-fi!)

Head over at 6:30. You'll be just fine!

What a quinky dink! :sunny:

We got there about an hour before hand. It was nice because we were able to get settled and have a small snack before it began. Have fun!!! :goodvibes
