I just booked the Fantasmic Dinner package at Brown Derby for some friends. They are on the deluxe dining plan. When I booked online, the website read, Select Disney Dining Plans Not Accepted'.

Does this mean you cannot use the deluxe dining plan to pay for this meal?

Yes, you can. You couldn't use a QS dining plan. There should be a link to click that shows the credits taken with each meal plan. It's just a disclaimer.

Thank you - the message surprised me on the website! Do you know if guests receive a Fantasmic 'pass' of some kind to get to the show? Just wondering how the Fantasmic package works. Thanks!

Yep, it means that you can't use ALL the dining plans - the quick service plan is not accepted at table service restaurants.

You get a voucher to enter the show and sit in the reserved section (there are no reserved seats - but a whole section).

Also, deluxe guests on this package don't get anything the regular plan guests aren't getting - ALL packages, no matter how you pay for them, include an appetizer, entree and dessert plus nonalcoholic beverage ("exceptions" being that Mama Melrose features a shared dessert platter rather than allowing individual ordering of desserts, and Hollywood & Vine is a buffet.)
