I had a few questions regaring the Fantasmic Dining package.

1. When I went to make reservations for the package, there were two show times listed, 8:30 and 9:00. Would it matter which time I chose, since there is only one Fantasmic scheduled as of right now?

2. I am still debating about whether or not this package is worth it since there will be nine of us and I have heard the food at Mama Melrose's is mediocre. We will be there at the end of June, so how early would we have to wait to get decent seats at Fantasmic if we did not do the package?

3. Finally, I know the package is a fixed price. What is the current cost for both adults and children?

Thanks!

When you enter the date it should give you the time choices. We loved HBD. It is 2 credits on dining plan, but really great food. You can also choose a lunch instead. You will need to get there 60-90 min. ahead if you want GREAT seats and you dont do dinner pkg. in June.
Not sure if you are not on dining plan. I suggest you call Disney Dining, they are very helpful.

1. When I went to make reservations for the package, there were two show times listed, 8:30 and 9:00. Would it matter which time I chose, since there is only one Fantasmic scheduled as of right now? The dining package is only good for the first show of the night.

2. I am still debating about whether or not this package is worth it since there will be nine of us and I have heard the food at Mama Melrose's is mediocre. It's been a long time since I've eaten at MM, but we did the F! Dining Package at the Hollywood Brown Derby last year and the food was excellent (except the Grapefruit Cake which I didn't care for, although I'm glad I tried it.) We will be there at the end of June, so how early would we have to wait to get decent seats at Fantasmic if we did not do the package? At the end of June it will be pretty busy so I would say plan to get in line about 90 minutes in advance for the first show if you don't do the dining package. The second show will probably be less crowded.

3. Finally, I know the package is a fixed price. What is the current cost for both adults and children? See the link below. Dining package prices are about half way down the page.

Here's the link to everything you could possibly want to know about Fantasmic and the dining package: :)

We always do the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose's. Can't stand Hollywood & Vine even tho it's the cheapest - talk about mediocre!! :scared: It's got to be the worst buffet on property. The Brown Derby is out of our price point...I would put Mama's on par with Carrabbas if you're familiar with that chain. When I booked Mama's for August I think the fixed dinner was $38 something (almost $39) and the lunch price was $37 something...but I think the times offered for the lunches are more normal whereas the dinner ones are funky early (4:00-5:30).

I appreciate all of your help.

We are not on the dining plan, so that is why I am debating whether or not the package is worth it. I have to take into consideration that not everyone in my party will get the most expensive appetizer/entree.

I would love to do the Brown Derby, but it is out of my price range as well, especially with eight adults going. Also, I have to agree that Hollywood and Vine is one of the buffets to avoid; one of the worst Disney dining experiences that we have ever had.
